Food Engineer
Büşra Uslu
I am Büşra USLU. I was born in Izmir in 1998. I completed my undergraduate education in Balikesir University Food Engineering in July 2021. During my undergraduate education, I took part in various studies voluntarily and compulsorily. These studies are, respectively, laboratory analyses, observation of production field processes, company scanning in the field of sales and marketing and carrying out product marketing by meeting with companies, content marketing through my linkedin account, and management of various e-commerce sites. In addition, I continue my blog writing within BRKYNG Consulting by following developments in the food field, researching various marketing methods, and scanning various articles and sites in the light of science in order to raise public awareness. My goal in the continuation of my career is to develop new products in the production department, improve existing products, take part in ensuring customer satisfaction, make progress in the global arena, and as a result of this progress, to be a pioneer in the field of sales and marketing.

I graduated from Ege University, Department of Food Technology. I am currently working in the quality department of a private company. I am also continuing my education at Celal Bayar University, Department of Food Engineering and Atatürk University, Department of Occupational Health and Safety.

I manage ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and ISO 10002 standards in an accommodation facility in Antalya.
I have the ability to think innovatively due to my profession. In order to develop and improve, I aim to reflect my profession in the best way possible in line with the planning/management schedule in accordance with the standards in all the organizations I work in.

During my undergraduate studies, I did my internship (Chemistry Teaching) at a private educational institution in Bursa.
I did my university internship at LC WAIKIKI R&D department.
My graduation thesis “An improved isolation of trimyristin from Myristica fragrans as a renewable feedstock with the assistance of novel cationic gemini surfactant” was published in the “Journal of the Turkish Chemical Society”.
My Career Goal is to work on projects that will enable me to apply the theoretical knowledge I have learned in practice, to expand my existing knowledge by finding the opportunity to work with experienced and valuable people, to gain experience and to be able to do the task given to me in the best way possible with the confidence that this experience gives me.
My areas of interest are: Sustainability, Zero waste, Participating in Start-Up projects, Quality, Food, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry.
My hobbies include; Travelling - Exploring historical places & taking photos, Playing local folk dances - Modern Dance, Doing sports (Pilates), Being interested in oil painting & marbling art, Exploring historical places, Writing, Being interested in aromatherapy…
During my undergraduate years and my life, I volunteered in NGOs and many social responsibility projects. I was a member of Uludağ Chemistry Community (UKiT) and GençTema Volunteerism.

I am a 4th year undergraduate student at Ege University, majoring in Biotechnology and Biochemistry. I have completed my internship at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Medicine, and I am directing my research on biotechnological drug production.
